What an incredible body of work you’ve created! 👏👏👏 I hope you’re very proud of all of this, thank you for being a guide to me and so many other mothers in moments of WTF in early motherhood. ❤️
You know, it was a nice moment to reflect on how I've touched on these topics. I think in a way, here is the first book I want to write! Thank you for always supporting me my dearest friend xx
This has been so true for me. Starting a business after having children has taught me that you don't need endless time, you just need clarity on what actually moves things forward.
I used to think productivity was about doing more. Now it's about doing the right things. It's amazing how focused you become when you've only got a couple of hours before nursery pickup or a nap ends.
Motherhood hasn't made me less ambitious, it's just made me much more intentional with my time.
Thanks so much for reading! Yes, the focus is really hard to explain to someone who doesn't also live it, which is why it's important to get more mothers into hiring positions.
I'm really glad you've had that experience! And honestly, unintentional ambition CAN be so hazardous to both experience and for what the outcomes of it can be... Here's to intentionality always!
Thank you for sharing. I do feel like motherhood has been the biggest catalyst for clarifying what is most important to me. And what I really want to spend my time on. Because I don't have time to do anything other than the things that are top of my priority list.
I'm so glad it landed for you, Clare. And yes, I would have loved to have known these things earlier – but I'd like to think that the sense of feeling seen, even long after the fact, still has value too!

Agree with all but number 27 is a big fat yes!

It brings a whole lot of clarifying perspective, doesn't it! Thanks for reading x
Feeling seen right now. Thank you. If only I’d had someone to articulate all this so clearly when my children were small.
